Golden Hour Portraits


They just hit different. Especially when your subject is as stunning, fun, sweet, and lovely as Julia. To be fair, Julia has a dance background so she knows how to move her body gracefully, so I didn't have to do anything but gape in awe at her as she spun and twisted and moved like a pro. It was a dream photographing her.


BUT the most important thing was Julia's confidence. If you ask her, she'll tell you that she was nervous before stepping in front of my lens, but honestly, I think that's total BS because LOOK at her. Every frame tells a story of a beautiful, confident woman who I am dying to shoot with again.


At the time of posting this, there's a dusting of snow on the ground and Santa is making his rounds... but for anyone looking for their own portrait session like this, let's start planning for the summer! It's actually not crazy to book a session with me, even portraits, not just weddings, several months in advance. It's actually great doing it that way so that you have your first pick of dates, first pick for a backup rain date, and plenty of time to plan. Plus, did you know that I offer payment plans from the time you book until the month you shoot? Incredible. I know.
