Did we just become friends?

I'm Danielle Ariadne, a Boston-based wedding and elopement photographer who's scouring the globe for couples who eclipse the ordinary and truly value great photography. If you've navigated to this corner of the internet, you've probably just stumbled upon my work and are intrigued 👀 at what you saw. If you're trying to gauge whether I'm the right photographer to capture your wedding or elopement, I've curated a few of my galleries for you to look through here. Just click one of the photos below to be taken to the full gallery for whichever couple best describes the vision for your own day:

  • Patricia and Mario planned an intimate wedding with just their closest friends and family joining them at Boston's city hall before walking through the city to take portraits in the Public Gardens and then getting whisked off to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for dinner.
  • Veronica and Charles got married at their friend's house before they met me in the city to take portraits all around Boston, from Beacon Hill to Chinatown to the North End- the day was all about the two of them.
  • Mallory and Michael had an untraditional/traditional wedding where a second shooter and I covered the two of them getting ready, saying "I do," dancing their last song together in privacy, and every little detail in between.
  • Kalina and Luke wanted to self-solemnize in Colorado, so we jetted off to Denver, stayed in Loveland (how appropriate), and drove to Rocky Mountain National Park for their vows and portraits before spending time at a barcade and getting matching tattoos the next day. (They got the matching tats, not me. That would be weird).
  • Bonus: KaLynn and Ryan had the most insane engagement session where we shot around their hometown of New Bedford in the barcade where they met and with Ryan's gorgeous vintage car.

So how does this work?

Book a discovery call

Step 1 is to have a brief FaceTime call with me to go over all of the plans you have for your wedding or elopement. On this call we'll discuss the logistics of the day, a rough timeline of events, and what your needs are for coverage. We'll figure out if you need a second shooter, if you'd like to have an engagement session, and how to plan for prints and albums so your photos don't just live and die on your phone. I'll answer every question you have, including ones you might not have thought about.

Review your custom collection

After our call, I'll get right to work on emailing you a custom collection that outlines what is included and the total investment. The quote will cover the number of coverage hours, if a second shooter is included (sometimes I provide two quotes, one with and without a second shooter if you're unsure), and any other add-ons we discussed on the call. I'll explain how payment can be accepted (cash, credit/debit, or bank transfer) and I'll break down how my monthly payment system works so you have peace of mind, feeling totally informed and prepared to make a decision.

complete the invoice + contract

Once you've reviewed your custom collection, ensured all of your questions are answered, and decided that I'm your photographer soulmate, I'll send over an invoice for the retainer to hold your date with your contract attached. Once the invoice is paid and contract is sent back signed, you'll be officially on the books! That's the time when you can breathe a sigh of relief and get yourself a sweet treat to celebrate checking off another item on your wedding to-do list!

A little something extra

If my work resonates with you and you're feeling like this might be it... don't wait to get in touch! I book weddings as far out as a year or just over in advance, and often have travel booked 6 months in advance for industry conferences and workshops that I attend and teach at.

Although all of my collections are created to be customized for unique wedding or elopement, here are a few perks that are usually included:

Engagement session photo in black and white of a woman in a white dress and cat eye sunglasses on the hood of a vintage car with her fiancé.
dedicated Engagement planning experience

Intentional location scouting, styling guidance, and priority scheduling

The next step to getting officially on my calendar is to book a Discovery Call with me! On our call, we'll discuss the details of your day that you have planned and how I can fit seamlessly into your day, capturing what's most important to you in my signature style.

If you're even a little curious, let's talk!

No pressure, no expectations, just a chance to see if we're the right fit.
